First of all, I love love love your comic, and I sorely wish I could donate to you guys! I would GREATLY appreciate if you tell me if there will be further hand trauma later in your (wonderful!) story. Please don't leave anything out, just tell me when it's coming. My tumblr is rosetrololonde!

Thank you so much for the support! I had no idea there was an audience for hand trauma. The folks you meet while drawing comics are never boring. Great to have you here!
It wasn't my intention for there to be a lot of hand-related trauma in the story, seeing as it's not a fetish for me and I was using it as a metaphor for taking control of personal tragedy (your hand can be broken/removed but you can adapt/replace it). It just sort of turned out that way. And, yeah, this isn't the end of it on a thematic level XD.

Somehow, with all thats going on i'm also curious what happend to victor's cat (cupboard?) that jumped into his car on the 'mermaid in a manhole 11' page... curious to see if the cat is going to be remembered by the characters of featured in some shenanigans in the near (hospital) future.

Over all I love how your story is progressing and how you are depicting the characters. And I like how the guys are caring more for Corelle's well being than anyone seems to have done for her up until now.
It gives a feeling that the guys all have there reasons for having experianced similiar uncaringness in the passed and dicided to do things diferent for this (random) girl.

Keep up the briliant work and I'm as always looking forward to the next page!

Don't worry! Cupboard comes back into the picture soon, she hasn't been forgotten :)

I'm so happy you're enjoying the comic! I'm so glad you've picked up on a lot of the themes so far. We're just barely scratching the surface of the story right now and I hope you'll like it as it continues!

I love the little details in the backgrounds of all these pages... the hospital isn't super new, the outside isn't in perfect shape, but it does have the usual bland, awful paintings... what happened to the pocket of Rex's pants? That his only pair? -and I love the scroungy apt. Does everyone but Quen have the flesh eating disease?
The torn-up lawn from the soovie is great.
A suggestion: It would be helpful to have the "cast" pages in color. Hair color makes it easier for a new reader to recognize characters. I had Rex and Victor mixed up for awhile.

1. The hospital is about... 25 to 30 or so years old at this point, yeah. A LOT of work has gone into it and it gets a great deal of use. We spend a good chunk of the story here.
2. He put a soldering iron in his pocket while it still turned on. I haven't brought that up yet and it'll probably be a running gag in the future.
3. He has several pairs but he didn't want to go upstairs and get another set.
4. Thank you XD it was fun to draw.
5. Rex doesn't have the flesh-eating disease, he's scratching himself out of anxiety. I didn't make the connection between the two when I saw it, dang.
6. Thank you!
7. Hmm, good point. I rather like the sketch look for in that case I'll probably make a separate color cast image, maybe with a height chart. Would that be good?
Aw, you got them mixed up? That's not good. I need to make sure everyone can be recognized easily even without color.
Here's a cast page I already did:

Personally I like the sketchy look of the cast page, maybe it could be an option to add a "first appearance" link to the cast page per person. so people can go see when the person is first introduced and get a good reference for who it is.
Its something I've seen on some of the other web comics I read and it can help a lot in keeping track of who is who in a large cast.
for an example look at:
