So old pg 16 was right before Corelle met new girl, which was replaced so it's no longer canon, didn't happen/wasn't seen. So now we're jumping to right after the off-camera introduction?

I would have thought that old page 16 would be here with this following right behind for a smooth flow. 🤔
But I guess the writers know what they're doing. 😎

The characters were already introduced, we don't see any reason introducing everyone over and over. You know how introductions go, no need to see it for the Xth time. No need to see every second in everyone's life.

But Corelle was having some interesting deep thoughts, now removed, so she goes back to seeming more shallow. Even the detail of how carefully she removed her backpack was telling.

Corelle isn't really the main character, and we feel that she's been cemented enough by now. We need to allow the rest of the cast to blossom, especially since she won't be the main focus from now on.

I'm still loving her new look...kinda wish her hands were purple, or with flames. If I had to have replacement hands, I'd probably make them look like skeleton hands that glowed in the dark.

IIRC she hasn't built her final arms yet. So they might end up like that.

I can just picture her adding some special features like tools in the hands... Swiss Army Hands. Believe it or not that idea hit me from a memory of when I was nine and the stores had an add on set of arms for the Six Million Dollar Man dolls for special missions.
