Oooh dang, I'm glad she's finally getting this out there, I was beginning to wonder a bit that she didn't seem to mind everything that happened to her. But yeah man, this poor girl got mutilated and you've been like the least sensitive of everyone about it.

And perhaps it takes hearing it from her for him to really take it in. As someone who is invested in these characters, and this story, I really hope so.

He's clearly deeply damaged himself, with the PTSD, but he has been an ass to her, and he needs to hear this.

I love how multifaceted all these characters are.

EDIT: but wasn't he working on her first set of arms? Still, could have called.

After a full year he still didn't make her arms so he definitely wasn't working on them. The last comment on this page features a link to the page.

Thanks for the correction, I remembered he was holding that sketch when he was asleep, so assumed that was one reason why he didn't appear

I tried to do an archive dive, but there seems to be a severe gap after #119, mermaid in a manhole.

Hey there, co-author here: We went through the pages and don't see a gap. There's a scene transition, which is supposed to be there, but there aren't any missing pages. Are you sure it's pg 119?

Yes. I'm using an adblock browser on android phone. It seemed that putting incremental numbers in the url code didn't work either.

Sorry to hear you have issues but we tested the archieve on two separate computers and a Chrome browser on an Android and it works just fine, with no gaps or missing pages http://seriousengineering.thecomicseries.com/archive/

Just finished a complete archive dive from number one. Happy to report that all pages and images loaded successfully with nary a problem.

I've also don an archive dive and while I didn't notice a break, I did find some altered dialogue on panel 4 of this page:

On the original page, Quen asked Rex how many of the women in the catalogue he slept with and no mention was made of patent lawsuits. This might have been one of the "mistakes" corrected when you overhauled the comic - but in this case the original dialogue made much more sense.

Looks to me like he's right there by her side.

He only came that one time http://seriousengineering.thecomicseries.com/comics/146/

Agreed. It almost looks as though he's stuck there waiting for a ride home.

Hmm hadn't looked at it that way. I guess we'll see.

I know this is a bit late but I thought it worth mentioning. In the top right panel where she mention how they first met and he was acting scared of her.
I think anyone in that situation would have freaked out. I mean she did walked in through the front door unannounced, in the middle of the night, and walked up Rex until she was just in his personal space before saying anything.
At that moment Rex would of been confronted by the sight of a half rotting girl who probably looked nothing like any picture of her that he might of seen.

Corelle's other two points, about the lawn and the not visiting/calling her, I feel are still valid.
