I just discovered your webcomic, and I'm absolutely loving it! However, as an American living in Canada I have a question: What do you mean by "college"?

In the US, a "university" offers 4-year undergraduate degrees as well as graduate degrees while "college" offers 4-year undergraduate degrees but no graduate degrees. A 2 or 3 year program, often in a trade, would be done at a "community college" (or "trade school", or "technical school").

In Canada, any school that offers a 4-year undergraduate degree is a "university". A 2 or 3 year degree is done at a "college" (or "trade school", or "technical school").

So is the character in the headscarf going to a Canadian "college" or an American "college"? I'm sure the answer is not really relevant, but it's bugging me because she seems to be talking about "university" while calling it "college".

Clarification: In the US "universities" are often referred to as "colleges" the terms are used interchangeably, while in Canada "universities" are NEVER called "colleges".
